Tengku Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz said his focus as the next finance minister is on the economic challenges ahead.
Speaking to reporters after his swearing-in as a senator, Zafrul stressed that he was not a politician.
Zafrul, left an incredibly lucrative job as chief executive officer of CIMB Group Holdings Bhd to become the finance minister of Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin's cabinet.
