The Indian state is secular by its own at the time of independence which has no reason to mention the same in the preamble as it is obvious but after independence, during the period of emergency our constitution forcibly amended for the reason of appeasement and added the word “secular” in its preambles and no definition for the word has been provided in the constitution and moreover the word “secular” interpreted incorrectly by saying it “dharmanirpeksha” instead of correct word “panthnirpeksha”.
