Wong Yan Ke claimed trial at a Kuala Lumpur Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday for his protest against Universiti Malaya Vice-Chancellor Datuk Abdul Rahim Hashim during a convocation ceremony last year.
He was charged under Section 504 of the Penal Code for intentional insult with intent to provoke a breach of the peace.
