Hong Kong coronavirus protest: Disruption near quarantine sites close to residential areas

Over the weekend on February 15-16, hundreds of people protested across several districts in Hong Kong to oppose the government’s decision to use public clinics near residential areas as treatment centres for Covid-19 patients. At least 20 people were arrested in an officially approved protest in Tin Shui Wai. As of February 17, Hong Kong has recorded 57 confirmed Covid-19 cases and 1 death.
