Cheyenne Federiconi, a Canadian artist from Hamilton, Ontario, shared an adorable video of her 86-year-old grandpa Nello performing a sweet duet with her bird Peachy.
She revealed that her grandpa initially told her not to bring the bird over but when she did anyway, he brought out his harmonica.
Peachy is filmed whistling with the musical instrument as Nello plays.
Cheyenne told Newsflare: "My grandpa was sceptical about me getting a bird but when he sees Peachy they are the best of friends and he frequently plays the harmonica to Peachy and he will whistle along.
"This is not the first time I have brought Peachy over... my grandpa does this a lot.
"Peachy was an adopted rescue and was born with a crooked foot, but makes up for it with his singing abilities."
The video was recorded on Friday (January 24) and posted to Twitter, where social media users couldn't get enough of the heartwarming interaction.
"This is so f***ing cute I’m in tears," one person commented.
"It's always the grumpy one who doesn't want the animal at home that gets attached the most and is the sweetest with them," another user joked.
