Start the process by creating a company under the Companies Act 2013. No other entity other than the company is allowed to apply for an NBFC license. Any type of company such as private or public can apply for a license. However, OPC cannot apply for NBFC License to RBI. The company shall mention the objectives of financial activities on its MOA.
