Iraqi protesters blocked roads on Tuesday in an attempt to pressure authorities to implement long-awaited reforms. Anti-government rallies have rocked Iraq since October but had thinned out in recent weeks amid spiralling tensions between Baghdad's key allies Tehran and Washington.
