Grapeseed oil comes from the pressed seeds of grapes. The oil is the by-product of the process of making wine.
Nutrition Facts:

Grapeseed oil is a rich source of healthy fatty acids like linoleic acid, alpha-linolenic acids, as well as stearic, palmitic acids. It consists of other nutrients like vitamin E, sterols and steroids.

Health benefits of grape seed oil:

1. Skincare:
Grape seed oil is great for your skin because of its antioxidant properties. The astringent nature of the oil tightens your skin, minimizing the appearance of the wrinkles and increasing elasticity.

2. Reduces hair loss:
Because of the high content of vitamin E, it acts as an excellent moisturizer for the hair. It decreases the dryness and fizziness of the hair and helps to promote healthy hair growth.

3. Boosts immunity:
The presence of vitamin E helps to boost the immune system and prevents the cell damage thereby keeping us healthy.

4. Helps to balance cholesterol levels:
The healthy fatty acids like linoleic acid help to lower your LDL or bad cholesterol levels and protects your heart. These help to reduce the risk of coronary heart diseases thereby ensuring a healthy body.

5. Reduces inflammation:
Compounds in grape seed oil help to decrease the swelling, inflamed tissue and allergic responses. It also helps to reduce strain on your immune system and eases the pain of the joints and muscles.

6. Can Reduce Blood Pressure:
Several studies have researched the effects of GSE on high blood pressure.
A meta-analysis of 16 studies in 810 people with high blood pressure or an elevated risk of high blood pressure examined the effect of GSE on the condition.
They found that 100–2,000 mg of GSE per day significantly reduced systolic blood pressure (the top number) by an average of 6.08 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure (the bottom number) by 2.8 mmHg.
Those under the age of 50, who were obese or had metabolic disorders showed the greatest improvements.
The most promising results came from lower doses of 100–800 mg daily for 8–16 weeks rather than a single dose of 800 mg or greater.
Another study in 29 adults with high blood pressure found that 300 mg of GSE daily lowered systolic blood pressure by 5.6% and diastolic blood pressure by 4.7% after six weeks.
