Which Chinese zodiac sign will have the luckiest Year of the Rat? Our Lunar New Year predictions may shed a light
The Year of the Metal Rat starts from Chinese New Year on January 25, and is traditionally believed to be a year that brings new opportunities in the areas of love and earnings. STYLE speaks to Thierry Chow, a rising feng shui expert, who gives us her predictions for each of the 12 Chinese zodiac signs over the coming year.
Dragon
The dragon is among the ones with the best year out of all the signs. Entering Hui Tai Sui (a year of “union”), this sign will see a year filled with many opportunities across the board, from career to relationships. However, with nothing but good things to come, the dragon should keep a light but focused mind. They will be easily distracted, so do not rush with decision-making. Patience is key here.
Snake
The snake will profit from Gui Ren (“assistant star”) this year. With this star in the charts, people born in the year of the snake will find themselves with a guiding and protective presence this year. They will benefit from a great year filled with good help, especially in the area of career. When in trouble, they will find themselves in good company to lead them out of sticky situations.
Horse
This is a year of movements (Chong Tai Sui) for people born under the sign of horse. They will experience many changes and receive opportunities to travel more. Do not be surprised if chances for a career change pop up. A new relationship may also be on the horizon.
Sheep
The sheep is looking at a year of Xing Tai Sui (“year of trouble”). But do not fret, for it may not be as dire as it sounds. There will be some challenges ahead, especially when it comes to career, but challenges bring growth. Be cautious when making big decisions. It is wise to be mindful at all times, and leave fearfulness aside.
