Despite changes in the traditional procession routes, hundreds of devotees gather in the new areas of Traslacion in hopes to see and touch the miraculous iconic image of the Black
Nazarene. However, a clash erupted between the police and the eager devotees as some of them pushed themselves to enter the cordoned area. Meanwhile, street sweepers from the
Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) and Manila City local government unit Department of Public Services (DPS) immediately wiped all dirt along the streets disposed by devotees.
