D.C. School Apologizes After Black Students Reportedly Asked To Portray Slaves For Lesson

The principal of a Washington DC’s Lafayette Elementary School sent out a letter of apology after black students were reportedly asked to play the roles of slaves in a class assignment about the Civil War and Reconstruction.
