Power sector has been making headlines all through 2019 but mostly for wrong reasons. We had alerted that FY19 DISCOM losses are expected to mount and now it seems the actual reported numbers are worse than expected. So 2019 doesn't seem to be ending at a positive note for power sector, hopefully 2020 will see some turnaround. Pramod Deo, former chairperson of CERC and Vivek Sharma, senior director of Crisil Infrastructure Advisory spoke at length about the latest happenings in the power sector.
