Locals gathered outside Jama Masjid in the national capital to protest against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act. Protesters held posters which read ‘Save the Constitution’ and ‘Withdraw the CAA’. Anti-CAA protests have stirred the country after President Ram Nath Kovind gave it assent, turning it into an Act. The violence during protests has claimed numerous lives across the country.
