The peaceful protest turned violent in Brijpuri area in Delhi on Dec 17. Protesters suddenly started pelting stones. Few people got injured. Speaking on this Additional DCP North-East Delhi RP Meena said, “Around 300-400 people were holding a peaceful protest at Brijpuri area. Suddenly, they started pelting stones. We held talks with them after which they've dispersed. The situation is under control now. Few people were injured.”
