Stick-wielding men intercept car and attack passenger in northern India

This is the chilling moment two angry men attack a car with sticks after intercepting it in the middle of the road in the north Indian state of Haryana.

According to reports, the incident took place on December 5 in Hisar district's Balsamand.

Visuals show the attackers breaking the windows and lights of the car as passengers flee for safety.

When some men tried to intervene, an attacker, dressed in a blue shirt, asked them to stay away and even scared them with the stick.

The men eventually got hold of the man and hit him with the sticks after dragging him out of the vehicle.

The onslaught forced the driver of the car to flee.

However, the men were forced to relent after a crowd gathered and stopped the attack.

According to reports, the men launched a vicious attack due to a land dispute.

Based on complaints made by the victim, Subhash, 37, the police lodged a First Information Report (FIR) against 14 people.
