The all-new Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 with its partner-in-crime Interceptor 650 are going to launch globally in September 2018. Media invites have been sent to various publications who are heading out for the ride in the USA. It is a pure cafe racer with a powerful parallel-twin engine. Cafe racers were majorly popular in the 1970s and 80s and now, the trend is growing strong. Check out its twin exhaust muffle, chrome inserts over the body, the iconic round headlamps, and the perfect Continental body. Oomph! Features onboard would not be much. It comes with features such as front and rear disc brakes with dual-channel ABS, twin-pod speedometer, LED headlamps, Clip-On Handlebars, and top-class suspension. We expect it to be priced starting from Rs 3 Lakhs, making it the costliest Royal Enfield bike.
The design is based on proper old school bikes. Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 defines it muscularity with sporty and macho looks. They will sport the Roadster and Cafe Racer design and styling, which is rarely found in India. Royal Enfield has assured that these bikes will have a top-notch fit and finish and a lot of thought and work has gone into the quality as well. The bikes will be available in four colours – Staunchy Blue, Chrome, Icy White and Black Magic. It weighs around 199 KG.
