Congress party staged protest in Parliament premises against onion price hike on December 05. Congress’ senior leader P Chidambaram, who was granted bail by Supreme Court in the INX Media money laundering case yesterday, also joined the protest. Onion prices have surpassed 100 Rs mark across several cities.
