Hong Kong riot police on Sunday (December 1st) charged peaceful protesters and threw tear gas during a legal pro-democracy march.
Thousands of demonstrators joined the march in the bustling shopping district of Tsim Tsa Tsui, after a week of relative calm in the long-running crisis.
