A witness who was in Gourmet Burger Kitchen on Clink Street when "it was all kicking off" at London Bridge today (November 29) explains what it was like being caught up in the situation.
He was with his wife and three young kids when they were told "get down on the floor", "holding [the kids] for 20 minutes".
He praised staff who kept them updated and asked if customers still wanted their food. The restaurant didn't let anyone out, anticipating an all clear, but then "suddenly it was - everyone out, everyone out, go down here, go right, just follow that.
"Something's still going on, we don't know quite what happened or how."
