An explosion at a power station in the Paris suburb of Cergy-Pontoise has turned the sky above parts of the city bright blue.
Many Parisians were stunned when the sky started to glow a bright neon blue shortly after 10pm on Wednesday night (November 26).
More than 200,000 homes were left without power after the explosion.
