Infections Across US, Says CDC .
According to the Centers for Disease Control
and Prevention, romaine lettuce from
Salinas, California, is being investigated by officials.
If the label says 'grown in Salinas' (whether alone or with the name of another location), don't eat it. Throw it away, CDC, via statement.

stating where it was grown, consumers
are still advised to throw it away.

contain romaine" are all including in the warning.
Restaurants and retailers should not serve or sell romaine lettuce if they cannot confirm it is from outside Salinas, Frank Yiannas, FDA's deputy commissioner for food policy and response, via statement.
