Alibaba stands to gain from eventual inclusion on Stock Connect, following its November 26, 2019, debut on the Hong Kong stock exchange, according to analyst Kenny Wen. The wealth management strategist at Everbright Sun Hung Kai also said investors will be keeping an eye on prospects for a partial US-China trade deal soon. Wen said the trade war and China economic data are bigger drivers of sentiment than Hong Kong ongoing protests.
