Large numbers of demonstrators gathered at Hong Kong’s Polytechnic University on Monday (November 25) to show support for the last remaining protesters on campus and continue to call for the government to respect their demands.
Following the pro-democracy victory in the district elections, several of the newly elected politicians entered the university and spoke with some of the remaining protesters.
The politicians were unable to bring the situation at the university to a close and protests are likely to continue in the coming days and weeks.
