Rankings were helped by metric from walkability services company Walk Score.
In first in America's biggest city, New York City, home of Central Park.
Coming in at second is hill-friendly San Francisco and its amazing views.
Third place goes to Boston with its picturesque cobblestone roads and famous 'Freedom Trail.'.
Down south in fourth place is sunny Miami thanks to South Beach and Little Havana.
Philadelphia takes fifth with its historic districts and an area that almost entirely walkable.
