Myanmar town offers glimmer of hope for Muslims enduring 'apartheid'

In the town of Kyaukphy in western Myanmar, Buddhists and Muslims used to live side by side as neighbours. But since 2012, when inter-communal unrest swept through swathes of western Myanmar, the town's Muslim population has been confined to a muddy camp. Some, however, still try to reach across the religious divide, raising hopes that old communal bonds may not be completely severed.
