The Olympic Council of Malaysia has revealed that the Philippines SEA Games Organising Committee had sent the council an advisory stating that there is an outbreak of polio in the Philippines.
Therefore, the Malaysian athletes and officials taking part in SEA Games have been advised to get vaccination for polio before their departure to the Philippines.
