Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said drastic changes in areas such as policy, implementation, and budget are needed if Pakatan Harapan wants to survive more than one term as the government.
The Home minister told reporters this at the Parliament lobby on Tuesday when asked to comment on the outcome of the Tanjung Piai by-election.
Muhyiddin said the Pakatan presidential council would hold its meeting on Saturday (23 Nov) while the party would hold its own meeting on Wednesday (20 Nov), where a report would be tabled and new feedback would be gathered based on that.
The Bersatu president said he was shocked by the outcome as the results did not reflect with Pakatan's own surveys and government intelligence.
