John Legere to Step Down
as T-Mobile CEO.
Legere will be stepping down after his
contract expires at the end of April 2020.
Mike Sievert, the current president and
chief operating officer of T-Mobile,
will replace Legere as CEO.
Legere will remain on the board and help
with T-Mobile's acquisition of Sprint.
It has been rumored that Legere is a top
contender for the next CEO of WeWork.
Adam Neumann was forced to step down
as WeWork's CEO due to concerns
over its compounding losses.
Legere denied that he has been
in talks with WeWork, .
saying that the rumors have
made things "awkward."
