Devotees thronged Kerala’s Sannidhanam ahead of their visit to Sabarimala Temple on November 16. The temple was opened on November 16 in the evening for the ‘Mandala Pooja’ festival. Tight security arrangements have also been made ahead of the pooja. The Supreme Court lifted a traditional ban on entry of women of all ages last year; however, it later referred the review petitions to a larger seven-judge bench.
