We had a chilly start to Ipdong today, the start of winter according to the traditional calendar. But tomorrow, it'll feel warmer during the day, as temperatures will be a few degrees higher than today. Seoul will be cloudy, but it'll be clear for the rest of the Korean peninsula.
Taking a detailed look at the readings, tomorrow morning will be a lot warmer than yesterday morning in most areas.
Seoul will kick off the day at 5 degrees Celsius, Chuncheon at 0, Daejeon and Gyeongju at 3 degrees Celsius, and Jeju at 12 degrees.
And daytime highs will also return to the seasonal norms, hovering mostly in the upper teens.
The mercury will climb to 16 degrees in Seoul, 18 in Daegu, Gwangju and Jeju, and 20 in Busan.
So, we'll have a clear start to the weekend. But on Sunday, it'll start to rain on the west coast in the afternoon. And the wet conditions will spread to the entire nation by the night, continuing into Monday.
On Wednesday, central and south western areas will see rainy spells.
And morning lows are set to plunge to minus 1 degree next Thursday, on College Entrance Examination day.
So, remember to bundle up on Thursday morning.
