This is the gruesome moment a tree snake was found eating a tokay gecko in a woman's bedroom.
The warring reptiles were seen dangling from the dressing table at the home in Kalasin, northeastern Thailand last Thursday (October 31) afternoon.
The House owner Aiw Srisawat heard the gecko squealing followed by the sound of something hitting the ground.
She went in to check and found the green tree snake strangling the gecko, before running out of the house and contacting the rescue team.
Aiw told the rescue team that she felt sorry for the gecko and did not want it to be eaten but was too scared to help.
She said: "I was so terrified to see the tree snake strangling and trying to eat the gecko. I've never seen this in real life before."
"Actually, I felt very sorry for the gecko and I didn't know how to catch the snake so I called the rescuers to take care of it."
The rescuer volunteer could not untangle the two reptiles so they had to put them both in the sack together before releasing them back in the wild.
