Volunteers from armed forces charity the British Legion place tributes in the Fields of Remembrance at Westminster Abbey in London on Tuesday (November 5).

Each cross carries a personal message to someone who lost their life in the service of the United Kingdom.

Video shows plots of tiny crosses bearing poppies.

The Duchess of Cornwall will join Prince Harry and the Duchess of Sussex on a visit to the site ahead of the national Remembrance Sunday ceremony on November 7, its official opening.

It will be accessible to the public from that day between 1pm to 6pm.
