Hundreds of New Yorkers take part in the annual pumpkin flotilla in Central Park for Halloween (October 31).
The event consists of pumpkin carving, Halloween-themed crafts, spooky stories and the signature flotilla where the vegetables are placed on rafts where they set sail across the Harlem Meer.
