Angry over the delay in their order, a group of 17 people attacked restaurant staff and vandalized the property in central India's Madhya Pradesh.
The incident, caught on CCTV in the restaurant kitchen, took place on October 28 at the Smack Fine Dine Restaurant in Bhopal.
Visuals showed one among the group members entering the kitchen and having a fiery exchange with one of the staff.
Later, another man from the group enters the facility and starts hitting the staff, resulting in a scuffle.
Things soon spiralled out of control and the group attack each other with iron rods, with one of the group seen picking up a glass bottle and attacking restaurant staff.
Rajiv Malhotra, a receptionist at the restaurant said, "The group was very rude. They were drunk and abusive."
Asked about the delay, Malhotra said the group was asked to wait as there wasn't enough space to accommodate them all.
"Once we made arrangements for them, they kept modifying the orders every now and then, causing the delay. They also behave rudely with our staff and entered the kitchen, despite telling them it wasn't allowed."
Malhotra said 27-year-old Pushpen Singh, the general manager, was seriously injured in the attack.
"We have approached the police. The matter now lies with them," Malhotra said.
According to reports, the perpetrators were associated with a big construction company in the state.
