South Korea and the United States seem to have narrowed their differences on how to share the cost of stationing American troops on the Peninsula next year.
An official familiar with last week's talks on the matter told reporters both sides agreed on some aspects of what the officials called a "win-win" deal.
This year's so-called Special Measures Agreement, which expires in December, required South Korea to pay almost 900 million U.S. dollars.
Next year, President Trump reportedly wants billions more.
