North Korea has warned the U.S. would be "seriously mistaken" to ignore the regime's year-end deadline for resuming nuclear talks.
The remark came from Kim Yong-chol, the Vice Chairman of North Korea's ruling Workers' Party.
In a statement released Sunday on the North's state-run Korean Central News Agency,... Kim said the close ties between President Donald Trump and Kim Jong-un alone... are not enough.
He said no substantial progress has been made between North Korea and the U.S. administrations... and QUOTE-"an exchange of fire" could happen at any moment.
Pyeongyang has previous warned of serious consequences... if Washington does not engage in talks with a different attitude by the end of this year.
