The Rubjerg Knude lighthouse in Hjørring, northern Denmark, was shifted 70-metres inland on wheels due to the nearby cliffs eroding.
Filmed by Michael Gehrisch on October 22, this time-lapse shows the lengthy process which saw the 720-ton structure lifted on a track and wheeled inland.
According to Gehrisch, the operation took around six hours to complete.
"I thought it could be a cool time-lapse, and how often do you get to see a lighthouse being moved? It's a beautiful area, so I also wanted to see a little more of the Danish countryside," Gehrisch told Newsflare.
