Collared scops owl grounded in southwest China where villagers help it recover

A collared scops owl was recently found grounded and unable to fly in a village in China’s southwestern province of Yunnan.  The bird was spotted in Jinping county by villagers who called authorities for help as they tried to rescue the creature.
