At least one child has been killed and more than two dozen people have been injured... after a 6-point-4 magnitude earthquake hit the southern Philippines.
The earthquake on Wednesday night shook the country's second-largest island Mindanao,... setting a shopping mall on fire and causing a house to collapse, leading to the one death.
The quake also caused power outages as well as some strong aftershocks in surrounding regions.
The Philippines is located on the Pacific Ring of Fire,... which is prone to earthquakes and volcanic eruptions.
