South Korea's finance minister Hong Nam-ki is visiting the U.S from Tuesday until next Monday for annual general meetings with finance ministers from other G20 countries and representatives of international financial institutions such as the IMF and the World Bank.
At the meeting in Washington D.C., he will be discussing policy coordination measures for the stable growth of the global economy.
He is also scheduled for a meeting with international investment banks, asset management companies and economists in New York on Wednesday.
In this meeting, minister Hong will let investors know about Korea's economic conditions and present the government's future economic plans.
