Good morning, it was murky, breezy day for upper regions for most of Thursday but we'll have the exact opposite weather pattern today. Temperatures are kicking off higher than yesterday. Highs will also be 5 degrees higher than upper regions with brighter skies in store.
Taking a closer look, most regions are waking up to lows in the teens under clear skies. Gyeongju and Chuncheon are cooler at 11 degrees this morning.
But by the afternoon, highs will hike to the low to mid twenties along with normal to good air quality.
Meanwhile, Japan braces for Typhoon Hagibis. The typhoon is expected to strike near Nagoya in central Japan on Saturday morning. Due to the indirect effects of the typhoon, a high seas watch has been issued for waters off Jeju while Jeju, eastern and southern coastal regions will experience strong gusts of up to 15 meters a second.
