A parade of 'ghouls' took to the Thai road as local people prepared for a show.
Locals wheeled out the handmade apparitions which are used to make the festival of the tenth lunar month in Nakhon Si Thammarat, southern Thailand.
Footage taken on September 19 afternoon shows how locals delivered the strange models to the local university that will host the ghoul parade.
University officer Kamon Boonmueng said: "The ghoul models for the parade take weeks to make, then people come and celebrate our traditional festival together."
The ghoul model is the symbol of the festival as it is principally about donating food to appease the spirits.
