Hancock: UK has made 'significant compromises' over Brexit

Matt Hancock says the prime minister is "absolutely clear that we're leaving [the EU] at the of October", and the health secretary reiterated his position that, "the best way to do that is with a deal". Boris Johnson has warned the EU that the Benn Act will not stop the UK from leaving on 31 October. Mr Hancock said the UK has made "significant compromises" in attempting to get a deal with the EU, echoing the prime minister's message to French president Emmanuel Macron that Brussels "must match the compromises that the UK has made".
