The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) issued compound notices to 80 individuals and entities that received money totalling RM420 million, believed to have originated from 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB), MACC Chief Commissioner Latheefa Koya said.
She said the individuals and entities served with the compound notices were given two weeks to return the money they received.
Latheefa said the amounts the individuals received from 1MDB were as low as RM500,000 and as high as RM25 million, while entities received up to RM134 million.
