Pyeongyang and Washington will resume nuclear negotiations this week.
The regime's Vice Foreign Minister Choe Son-hui... issued a statement... saying the two sides will hold working-level talks this Saturday... following a preliminary contact on Friday.
She said the North is ready for the talks... and expects some positive developments.
Seoul's Presidential Office welcomed the announcement and expressed hopes some practical progress is made soon... in achieving complete denuclearization and lasting peace on the Peninsula.
