Not one single hydrogen fluoride was exported to South Korea from Japan in August.
This follows Tokyo's trade curbs on three strategic materials used in semiconductors and displays.
The Japanese Finance Ministry's monthly trade statistics showed outbound shipments of hydrogen fluoride to Seoul stood at zero.
Tokyo had emphasized it would allow exports to South Korea within 90 days if it doesn't find any problem with export requests.
Yet only one export request of the material has been allowed since July.
