Hyundai Motor Company says it has officially launched a joint venture with Swiss hydrogen energy company H2 Energy.
The venture, called Hyundai Hydrogen Mobility, aims to sell around 16-hundred hydrogen fuel cell-powered trucks by 2025, with Hyundai providing the trucks and H2 Energy providing technical and consulting solutions.
The South Korean carmaker says the joint venture will help its hydrogen energy business expand into the European market, including Germany and Norway.
