Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has put Punjab and Maharashtra Cooperative Bank under restrictions for 6 months. Depositors will be allowed to withdraw a sum not exceeding Rs 1,000 per account and the bank cannot grant or renew any loans and advances or accept fresh deposits.
