Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad has confirmed that a law to regulate political financing will tabled in Parliament soon.
A law on political funding was first proposed in 2015, after the 1MDB scandal and allegations that Najib received US$681 million into his personal accounts.
However, the BN-era bill was never brought to Parliament.
The next Parliament session will last from Oct 7 until Dec 5.
