Good afternoon, we had the chilliest morning of the season so far. Those in upper regions, including Paju and Cheorwon, saw single digit morning lows, but highs will soar to the mid twenties so we will see wide temperature differences of nearly 15 degrees Celsius in those places.
Highs will also be a few notches lower than Wednesday, hovering in the mid twenties in most parts. But skies will be fairly clear and the air will be clean.
There's a chance an autumn typhoon Tapah could strike the Korean peninsula this weekend as a tropical depression has formed in waters southeast of Okinawa.
It will likely to bring heavy showers to Korea from midnight Saturday, starting on Jeju and gradually spreading to the rest of the country by Saturday afternoon. We'll keep you updated on any further information.
